Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) is one of the most renowned designers of Swedish ceramic art of the 20th century. He is well-known for his constant creativity and exceptional eye for shapes, proportions and patterns. Lindberg is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.

Stig Lindberg’s brilliant dish with leaf shape, milky white glaze, and wild flower decoration. The dish was decorated by hand in the Gustavsberg studio, giving it a unique touch. Swedish mid-century design at its best!

Made by the Swedish factory Gustavsberg in stoneware.

This leaf dish measures 31.5 cm long x 10.5 cm wide x 4 cm high.

Signed Gustavsberg Sweden; painters mark for Helina Pitkanen who worked in the studio between the years 1941-1961.

Condition: Excellent, no damages to the ceramic.
