Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) is one of the most renowned designers of Swedish ceramic art of the 20th century. He is well-known for his constant creativity and exceptional eye for shapes, proportions and patterns. Lindberg is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.

Stig Lindberg’s series of playful leaf dishes and bowls were designed in the 1940s and hand decorated in the Gustavsberg studio using a variety of patterns and glazes.

Made by the Swedish factory Gustavsberg in stoneware.

This leaf dish measures 12.5 cm long x 8 cm wide.

Signed Gustavsberg Sweden; painters mark ! for Alf Jarnestad who worked in the studio between the years 1946-56.

Condition: Excellent, no damages to the ceramic.
