Sven Palmqvist ( 1906 – 1984 ) renowned artist at the Orrefors glassworks in Smaland south west Sweden.

Strikingly elegant tall glass vase by Sven Palmqvist for Orrefors c.1950’s. The vase is of an A shape with thick asymetric rim and heavy base. Smokey grey and clear glass combination.

Engraved signature to base “Orrefors P u 3591/12.

The vase measures 30 cm in height. 

Weighs 908 grammes 

Condition: Excellent, usual surface scratches to base.
