Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) is one of the most renowned designers of Swedish ceramic art of the 20th century. He is well-known for his constant creativity and exceptional eye for shapes, proportions and patterns. Lindberg is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.

Stig Lindberg’s wonderful vase with slender form, scale relief pattern, and matte white glaze was designed in 1953 as part of the Reptile series. Iconic Swedish mid-century art piece!

Made by the Swedish factory Gustavsberg in stoneware.

Measures 31 cm high x 7 cm wide.

Original paper label.

Condition: Excellent, no damages to the porcelain.
