Stig Lindberg’s milky white glaze platter with colourful flower decoration. It was decorated by hand in the Gustavsberg studio, giving it a unique touch. Swedish mid-century design at its best.

Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) is one of the most renowned designers of Swedish ceramic art of the 20th century. He is well-known for his constant creativity and exceptional eye for shapes, proportions and patterns. Lindberg is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.

Signed Gustavsberg Sweden; painters mark for Eduard Berchtold 1950s.

Condition: Excellent, no damages to the ceramic.
