Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) is one of the most renowned designers of Swedish ceramic art of the 20th century. He is well-known for his constant creativity and exceptional eye for shapes, proportions and patterns. Lindberg is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.

Stig Lindberg’s brilliant jug has a milky white glaze and segmented blue linear decoration. It was decorated by hand in the Gustavsberg studio by Eduard Berchtold, a German who worked at Gustavsberg from 1951-1968.

Measures 18.5 cm high.
