Daisy Makeig-Jones series of “ordinary Lustre” ware.

A large Wedgwood Imperial bowl with the rare green (silver) lustre exterior and a mother of pearl interior, circa 1920. The bowl is decorated with multi lustre and gold hummingbirds while gilded flying geese encircle the rims. A large hummingbird adorns the centre of the bowl while multi lustre gilded geese encircle the interior rim.

Printed Wedgwood with Portland Vase mark to base and Numbered Z5088.

Size: 4 3/4″ high x 10 1/2″ diameter – the largest bowl made in lustreware.

Condition : Excellent, no damages to the porcelain or gilding, pings beautifully. There are a few spots of solid green lustre underneath and only mentioned for complete accuracy as they do not detract from this fabulous piece. Please view last photo. priced accordingly.
