Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre Antique Centre bowl, dated circa 1920.

A gorgeous shape bowl decorated with Firbolgs pattern, printed in black and gold on a red lustre ground. The interior, a pearl lustre, decorated with the Thumbelina pattern. Dragon Bead border to foot rim.

Maker’s marks including printed Portland Vase mark and ‘WEGDWOOD ENGLAND’, and painted Z5200, all to underside.

Measures – 22 cm diameter x 14 cm high

Condition : Excellent, no damages to the porcelain, clear of any repairs, a few faint scratches to the red ground, nothing really noticable and only mentioned for absolute accuracy. Just a beautiful piece.

Provenance – from the collection of Daisy Makeig-Jones niece Anne.
