Daisy Makeig-Jones series of “ordinary Lustre” ware for Wedgwood.

LARGE Imperial bowl in a mixed blue lustre with pale stainings and blue mottling, decorated with golden celestial dragons encircling the outside of the bowl. The interior has a mother of pearl lustre with pale stainings, a central Cruel dragon, three Ch’ing Lung dragons, faded mystical bats and a wide Pagoda border.

Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks, gilding is good, on very close inspection the exterior has some scratches to the lustre which doesn’t show up in the photos.
