The Organ grinder is a beautiful figurine from the Viennese porcelain manufactory Augarten. 

A well modelled figurine of an elderly man playing his instrument while holding his hand out for monetary compensation, beautifully painted, especially the scene on the front of the instrument. 

This very finely detailed figure modelled in during the 1920s by Mathilde Jaksch is hand made to achieve the highest quality, made in Austria.

Underneath: underglaze-blue crown over a beehive over a Wien Austria red mark of the Porcelain Manufactory Augarten; 

Sits 12 cm high
