Danish National Costumes
The series comprises in all 47 figures, which were produced by Karl Martin Hansen between 1906-1925. The artist was much admired for his many models and public monuments. He belonged to a school of Danish artists who, after the turn of the century, carried on with the traditional art work of Denmark.
The series of Danish national coastlines was without doubt one of Karl Martin Hansen’s greatest successes.
