Daisy Makeig-Jones series of “ordinary Lustre” ware.

An extremely rare Melba Center bowl made at Wedgwood circa 1920. The outside has a blue lustre with stainings and dark blue mottling and is decorated with multi-coloured lustre and gold flying Hummingbirds. Inside is an orange lustre with crimson mottling decorated with a central Hummingbird on a gilded nest. Flying geese in gilded lustre adorn the rim inside and out, and the foot.
