Rosenthal “Scherzo” is one of a series of six dancers modelled by Gustav Oppel in 1927.

A rare model, the largest version being 3cm larger in the round, hand painted in natural skin tones and gilded.

Green factory mark Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria to base; dated 1931 

Large size: Stands 27 cm tall.

Condition: Excellent no damage to the porcelain or gilding, check with UV light.
