Bier stein – German ceramic factory Mettlach, Villeroy Boch 

Etched design of “Old German Drinking Group” – the stein has an etched scene of a group or men drinking outside, with a musician and a servant. There are two versions of this stein a) brown background (This one) and b) blue background (Not This one).

The Stein is signed by the designer, C. Warth.

The inlaid pewter lid has a drinking vessel symbol with a Screaming Griffin thumb lift.
