Bier Krug – German ceramic factory Mettlach, Villeroy Boch

This is an antique Mettlach 3.25L German Beer Jug entitled “Fishing Couple” by Villeroy and Boch. Ceramic body is PUG (Print Under Glaze) and depicts a young man and woman hand in hand on the front of the stein with a sailboat on one side an a windmill on the other. Pewter thumb lid.

Condition Excellent with no chips, cracks or crazing.
