An extremely rare advertising sign for the ‘ Fruits and Flowers ‘ design made by the Hungarian porcelain factory Herend.

Since its introduction in the 1860s the Market Garden pattern, with its beautiful compositions of fruits and flowers, has been favoured by many royal houses. The Imperial Court of Russia ordered a set after its display at the World Exhibition of 1900.

The porcelain sign stands 15 cm high x 19 cm wide.
