Daisy Makeig-Jones series of “ordinary Lustre” ware.
A Bud Vase from Wedgwood, circa 1920, produced in a rare dark green lustre with blue mottling. (Silver is the element mixed with glaze to produce the gorgeous green lustre, the pieces were more expensive to produce and there were less made). Multicoloured lustre and gold flying Hummingbirds decorate the body with flying geese around the rim. . The interior is lined with mother of pearl lustre with pale stainings.
Printed Wedgwood with Portland Vase mark to base. Z5088.
