Green Dragon Vase


Wedgwood Ordinary Lustreware Circa 1920.

Large Vase in the rare green lustre with all colour mottling and a mother-of-pearl lustre neck. A large gold dragon coils around the bulbous vase with flaming pearls. Beautiful gilt borders to rims and base.

(Silver is the element used in the manufacture of green lustreware and therefore more expensive and a much rarer colour to find.)

Printed Wedgwood with Portland Vase mark to base and Pattern No Z4831 to base.

Stands an impressive  23 cm high.

Condition : Excellent, no damage to ceramic or gilding, an amazing quality bowl.
