Extremely rare Rosenthal Art Deco Figurine.
A set of porcelain Moors were first made at Rosenthal in the 1930s, designed by Hugo Meisel.
Otto Koch of the Banhof-Selb works added a pastille decoration to a limited number of figures.
The fruit carrrier is beautifully handpainted in pastel blues, lemon and bright orange fruits on a bronze coloured base. No glaze but a clean bisque finish.
Marked with the green Rosenthal factory crossed roses and Selb Bavaria, dated to base circa 1930s.
Incised model number 863, H.Meisel.
Stands at 18 cm high x 10 cm x 5.5 cm
Condition : Excellent, no damages to the porcelain, checked with UV light.
