French Bulldog

The French bulldog is a small utility dog originating in the early part of nineteenth century Britain. Popular in twentieth century Europe featuring in impressionist paintings of Parisian life, it became known as the French bulldog. It has large bat like ears giving it a clownish appearance and can be found in two colour ways, a grey and white and a brindle.
