An extremely rare Art Deco pair of Elephant bookends from the Goldscheider company

Made from white clay; Model # 5891; by Ida Meisinger in 1928.

Printed marks to base Goldscheider GWM Wein Made in Austria; Hand Decorated. Original silver paper label.

Incised model number 46 – 5891 – 20

Height 16.5 cm x 13.5 cm x 8 cm

Condition: Excellent, no damages to the ceramic, checked with UV light, no crazing to the glaze.
