Alexander Fox

£450.00

” In 1910 Theodor Kärner designed Alexander the Fox for the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg. The special colouring of his fur is shown particularly well to advantage thanks to the underglaze painting technique developed at Nymphenburg in 1903. Its soft muted shades and fluid transitions make the underglaze painting technique ideal for creating animal coats – as Alexander the Fox’s fur shows to perfection. “
